Welcome to The ART of Learning English through the ARTs!!

The purpose of this blog is to provide teachers and students with exciting ICT resources and activities to integrate English learning and the Visual Arts. I consider that it is very important to connect language learning with a specific context, as well as encourage students to be creative.

Some activities will need to be completed using Web 2.0 platforms, but also you will find some listening and reading activities designed by myself using authentic on-line sources, such as videos or on-line newspaper articles. 

Learners will be able to complete these activities on their own or in collaboration with their peers, fostering both autonomous and cooperative learning.

Please help yourself and modify the content or structure of any activity so it fits your class' needs.
